So what is ea all - american?

EA SPORTS All-Americans represent the top high school student athletes from across the country in football, basketball, baseball, softball, soccer, and golf. EA SPORTS All-Americans not only recognize the most talented players, but also those that perform in the classroom as well as help lead their teams to league and state championships that leave a lasting legacy at their high school and in their communities.

Each year, EA SPORTS All-American teams are selected by the respected editors of Student Sports, which have covered and compiled national rankings in various high school sports for more than 15 years. The selections are finalized after all high school programs have finished their respective seasons, allowing the EA SPORTS honor to take into account players who led their teams to championships.

In addition to our partnership on the All-American program since 2003, EA SPORTS and Student Sports also team up on the EA SPORTS Elite 11 Quarterback Competition, the premier quarterback event in the nation where the top high school signal-callers compete and receive professional schooling by the best coaches and college quarterbacks in the country.

EA SPORTS is proud to honor the nation's top athletes and celebrate the accomplishments of these young men and women on and off the field of play.
